The Divine Feminine

This belly dance exercise for birthing and pregnancy is amazing. I'd never seen how this is actually done before watching this video. I wonder if she really didn't feel any pain. Her labor only lasted for 4 hours too.

It is amazing how she is using dance as a tool to have a healthy pregnancy and delivery like this. I also think it's neat how this has a spiritual aspect to this and how she integrating dance into being a normal part her life.

Interesting. Don’t think I’d try it. But belly dancing originated by women FOR women to regain their after childbirth figure. Whether they used it DURING, I don’t know.

I have heard that some walking can help during labor, but I don’t know of anyone who has tried this. I’m glad that lady in this video seems so happy and things went well for her. She seems like she is confident in her self and embraces being a woman. Seeing people happy like that makes me smile.

Dancers are among the fittest people on earth. The control she has of her entire muscle structure is very good, very easy to see why labour would not be difficult.
Plenty of mums pace about during labour, I know a few do tai chi, yoga, ballet, one who has spent most of four labours on cross country skiing machine. belly dancing makes perfect sense with the rest of those in mind.
